Great hack: If you accidentally consume a little too much caffeine (3 shots pushed me over the edge) and you get a bit jittery, you can calm your nervous-system by eating a small dose of a simple food source, like cranberries. Eating a natural and quick absorbing calorie source is enough to kick you out of intense sympathetic (fight or flight) and edge you more toward parasympathetic (rest and digest). It’s like moving the slider toward the optimal zone, lol. It’s fun to moderate the body in real time. Have a good Saturday.
