Attachment is the same as ownership.
Ownership causes suffering when we drop the willingness to accept that everything breaks. Everything is impermanent. Everything is always shifting and changing. Attachment is the unwillingness to let go of something that is beyond its time.
Everything is always changing. So holding onto things is detrimental.
To love someone with unnatachment is to love someone in a way so they feel free.
You can love the people in your life, appreciate them and want to be around them, but in a way where they feel free.
We may still own things in life: A job, a woman, a goal, a family, a state. But we don’t let them own us. We don’t attach onto them so strong. Because we understand things are always shifting and changing. This allows us to open our hearts and trust life
